Poker and Blackjack Rules Guide

Card games of chance are a popular casino option. The most played of them are poker and blackjack.

Poker is a multi-aspect card game that was invented several centuries ago. The basic poker rules have been improved and modified throughout the history and now there are certain poker variations with maximally balanced and simplified rules. Poker rules include delegating playing duties. One of the players fulfills the duties of a dealer (he/she wears a “button” badge). Each player receives two cards (called “holes”) supposed to be exchanged in the process of the game with the table ones (community cards). The next two players having their places to the left of the dealer (“small blind” and “big blind”) are forced to make first bets in the game. Other players respond to the bets by either refusing to play (fold), match the wagered amount (call) or raise the bets (raise). The table community cards are added with one more card in each next round (“turn” and “river” respectively). The game’s conception includes the striving to collect special card combinations (poker hands) in order to win the pot. Mathematic calculations of poker hands odds are available at special online tables.

Blackjack is a game between two players. Blackjack rules involve attributing values to the cards; 2s – 10s are equivalent to their basic value. Jacks, queens and kings are valued 10 points. Aces are worth 11 or 1 at a player’s choice. Players’ aim is to collect 21 points or maximally close amount without exceeding the aim. Possible blackjack strategies are shown on a blackjack rules chart which may help players arrange more efficient gaming.
